Meet Dr. Brett Parks
Dr. Brett Parks is passionate about providing quality care and compassionate pediatric dentistry to the San Diego community. He enjoys working with children to give them a positive dental experience that will impact their dental health for the rest of their lives, as well as interacting with families and educating parents on how to improve the health of their children. Dr. Parks is committed to providing the highest quality care to all patients no matter their age, background or needs. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Education
Dr. Parks received his degree in Biochemistry and Molecular biology at the University of California, San Diego, then earned his Doctor in Dental Surgery from UCSF School of Dentistry. He pursued his post-graduate pediatric certificate at New York University Langone Hospitals where he was chief resident. During his career he has been committed to both research and health equity, publishing multiple articles and working in community health.
Special Certifications
Dr. Parks is board-eligible by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has certifications to perform sedation with pediatric patients by the Dental Board of California as well as privileges to treat patients at Rady's Children's Hospital. He regularly attends the annual American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry meeting, and lectures internationally to students in Malawi, Africa developing a pediatric dental curriculum for developing dental schools.

Life at Home
Outside of the office, Dr. Parks values spending time with his wife, a native San Diegan, and his two children. When he is not in the office, he is either at the beach teaching his kids to surf, or cheering on the Padres. He frequently travels to Mexico and Malawi, Africa where he works to expand healthcare to underprivileged communities. He also lectures internationally on pediatric dentistry to dental students in Malawi, Africa.
