Our friendly team will start by introducing your child to the office and dental tools, in a fun and friendly way to help them feel comfortable. We will also review your child’s health history, assess their oral health and development as well as address any concerns you may have.
Pediatric Dentistry
First Visit
The first visit to our office is a great opportunity for both child and parent to become comfortable with the dental environment and to start them on the right path for healthy oral care. Our office is designed to be child friendly, with a sea life theme and all our dentists are board certified in Pediatric Dentistry.
Initial Exam
Dental Cleaning and Fluoride Treatment
Our dental team will brush, floss and polish your child’s teeth to remove plaque and tartar. After the cleaning we will apply fluoride to help prevent cavities and strengthen the teeth.
Diagnostic X-rays
X-rays may be taken to look for issues not visible during a regular exam, such as cavities between teeth, developing permanent teeth or bone problems.
Oral Hygiene Education
Our dental team will instruct both parents and children regarding the proper way to brush, floss, and care for teeth at home. We will also discuss foods and drinks that are best for maintaining healthy teeth, including how to avoid sugary snacks that can cause cavities.
