Orthodontics

First Visit

The first visit to the orthodontist is an important step in determining if there is a need for braces or other orthodontic treatments. We work very closely with our pediatric dentists to create a streamline experience for all of your dental needs.

Consultation

We offer complimentary initial consultations at our office, for both children and adults, to evaluate dental and facial structure correction. During this appointment, our orthodontist will examine your teeth, mouth, and bite and look for signs of tooth malalignment, crowding, or jaw issues. You’ll talk about any dental issues or cosmetic concerns you have, like crooked teeth, difficulty biting or chewing, or jaw pain.

Records and Scans

Our Ortho Team will take X-rays and photos to get a clearer picture of your teeth, jaws, and underlying bone structure to help with treatment planning. They will also take scans of your teeth to create digital models for appliances, aligners and further analysis.

Treatment and Finances

Based on the findings, the orthodontist will explain the course of recommended treatment and how long it may take. This may consist of traditional braces, clear aligners, or other orthodontic appliances to correct malalignment. You will also meet with our treatment coordinator who will discuss the cost of the recommended treatment, payment plans, and insurance.
