Pediatric Dentistry

Preventative Care

Our office provides preventative care that is tailored to the unique dental needs of each individual child, from infants to teenagers.

Regular Check Ups

Periodic exams are recommended every 3 to 6 months to monitor dental growth, development and to check for any cavities or other oral health issues

Dental Cleaning and Fluoride Treatment

Cleanings are performed every 3 to 6 months which includes brushing, flossing and polishing to remove plaque and tartar. Fluoride is then applied after each cleaning to help prevent cavities and strengthen teeth

Diagnostic X-rays

X-rays are taken every 6 months to 12 months to look for issues not visible during a regular exam, such as cavities in between teeth and developing permanent teeth

Dental Sealants

Sealants may be recommended to help protect permanent molars that have deep grooves and crevices. A thin plastic coating is applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth to help prevent cavities.

Mouthguards

Our office offers custom-made mouthguards to fit the unique shape of an athlete’s mouth, offering a more secure and comfortable fit than standard, one-size-fits-all options. Fitted mouthguards for sports are protective devices designed to cover and cushion your teeth and gums during physical activities, especially contact sports like football, hockey, baseball or martial arts.

Orthodontic Evaluations

Our dentists will assess your child’s teeth at every visit to determine if an evaluation for braces or other treatment may be needed due to signs of misalignment or bite issues. We offer complimentary consultations with our Orthodontist and are able to work hand in hand to assure that if treatment is needed your child continues to have good oral health care.
